The Ftb is truly the greatest workhorse in the camera world. Many a photographer has used them for over 20 years with no problem. Its often been said that there so strong that, "You can pound nails with them."

The Canon Rebel 2000
The Rebel 2000 is a good camera to learn on but I've grown out of it rather quickly.
To go along with the Rebel 2000 I bought a Canon 75-300mm zoom lens. It's greatfor sports and wildlife but the optical quility has much to be desired.
